The LinkedIn Strategist develops and implements a comprehensive social media strategy, aimed at increasing a client's web traffic and brand awareness.

As a LinkedIn strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills, be creative and have a thorough understand of appropriate style of content appropriate for LinkedIn.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure a client's web presence is aligned with their marketing strategies.

LinkedIn Strategist responsibilities could include:

  • Achieve marketing targets through design of LinkedIn strategies

  • Manage, create and publish original, high quality content

  • Keep content on LinkedIn up-to-date

  • Collaborate and communicate with client to ensure content is appealing and informative for the target reader

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI

  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest means by which to optimize content

  • Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network

  • Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices


LinkedIn Strategist requirements are:

  • Proven work experience as a LinkedIn strategist or Social media manager specializing in LinkedIn

  • Hands on experience using LinkedIn for brand awareness

  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics and how to apply

  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and produce original content to meet these preferences

  • Ability to create original graphics to coordinate with company aesthetics
